Terms of Service
The short version: we give you tools, you use them with your own judgement. No guarantees, no replacement for professional advice.
Last updated 2026-04-23
By using ASA ("the service") you agree to the terms below. If you don't, please don't use the service.
What we provide
ASA is a collection of tools that help you assess whether something you encounter online — a URL, a phone number, a crypto wallet, an email, a job ad, a comp plan — is likely a scam. We combine third-party threat data, open-source intelligence, and AI analysis to produce a verdict.
Informational purposes only
- ASA is not a substitute for professional legal, financial, tax, or security advice. If something meaningful is at stake, consult a qualified professional.
- Our verdicts are assessments, not determinations of fact. A "likely legitimate" result is not an endorsement, and a "likely scam" result is not a defamatory accusation — both reflect pattern matching against the data we have.
- AI analyses may contain errors. Large language models hallucinate, misread context, and occasionally get the facts wrong. Always verify critical details independently before acting.
- Community reports are user-submitted and may not be verified. Use them as a signal, not proof.
Your responsibilities
- Use the service lawfully and in good faith.
- Don't submit content you don't have the right to analyze.
- Don't attempt to abuse rate limits, impersonate other users, or interfere with the service.
- Keep your account credentials secure — you're responsible for activity under your account.
No liability
The service is provided "as-is" with no warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee uptime, accuracy, completeness, or that the service will meet your needs. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from actions you take (or don't take) based on ASA's output.
Service changes
We may add, remove, or change features at any time. Paid plans — when launched — will come with their own billing terms. We'll give reasonable notice of material changes to these terms and to pricing.
Account termination
You can delete your account at any time from settings → Your data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service; where possible we'll reach out first.
